The Process Of Relationship Building
We pride ourselves as being a standalone in the industry. I can’t tell you how many times I find myself listening to a potential client who has been burned or had a horrific experience in dealing with web developers or an online marketing firm. That is not us! We genuinely care about the people that we are doing business with, and it is our goal to see you accomplish yours.
Why A Client Relationship Must Be Personal
This drive to be the exception in the industry starts with the way that we build relationships with our clients and potential clients. We start off by getting to know you, where you are at, and what you would like to see yourself doing with your business. We like to get a true feel for what makes your company tick and what the underlying passion is that drives you to succeed. Our goal isn’t just to get you to sign with us or to get your business–the truth is we just genuinely want to know you.
Earning Your Business Meets Referring Others To You
We believe that one of the greatest things you can have as a successful business is a powerful network. When we build a relationship with someone we give them full access to all of our business partners. If there is something you need that we don’t offer, we will make sure that you are in contact with the best in the business who can get it done. We have connected potential clients with some of the best in everything ranging from landscaping to video production, and everything in between. It is not uncommon for us to spend hours of our time making connections for people who may never sign with us. To us that’s ok, there is value in the fact that we have built a strong and trusted connection. That, as they say, is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
Maintaining A Relationship Means Continual Conversation
Once a relationship is built we take purposeful action in maintaining and continuing to build that relationship. Checking in with them, following up on past discussions, sending thank you and birthday cards–all of these things go a very long way in building strong relationships. None of these things, however, are left to happenstance. We are very systematic in how we approach these connections. This is where a great project management program comes in handy. From the very first time we talk to a client and exchange information, that client is entered into our program management system and conversations, events, follow up information and more are all set into place to ensure that we don’t miss a beat. This allows us to take very purposeful action while maintaining a very organic feel to the relationship. For us this is perfect because it allows our actions to match our philosophy that no one should ever feel like they don’t matter to us.
